It doesn’t look like what we experience but this fish is stretching it’s face. Fish have a lot of muscles that they use during feeding and occasionally they need to be loosened up. I’m am interested in the behavioral and emotional overlap of human’s and other animals. The yawning stretch occurs in almost all animals that have mouths. Even snakes do it. These commonalities fascinate me.
