This piece was created recently at the Alexandria Clay Coop in Virginia. I am exploring using angles and planes to create a somewhat stylized but still emotive version of animal bodies. I seek to capture their gestures and energy. This is a piece done early in that process and I quite like the results. I added a page from my sketchbook to show a bit of my process.
