.This little girl is the beginning of an exploration into this curious, tree climbing creatures. I often do several small or medium pieces in different poses before I tackle a large piece. These foxes have quite different proportions from many other foxes with elongated legs, neck, body, and tail. I have been able to watch them closely since they used to sun bathe outside our sliding door on the patio. We had a pair in the area and often heard them running on the roof at night. There mannerisms are somewhat catlike and their features are all pushed into the bottom 3rd of their face making them very charismatic.
