This is another one of my favorite pieces and one I will be hanging on to. She was created in 2019 as part of my short gorilla series that all began with a cube made of slabs that is then sculpted . I love the pensive wide eyed look on her face. It reminds me of myself when I get the chance to hunker down near a stream and watch the fish and other critters. I get completely absorbed. She was meant to be a maquette but I am happy with the size. It is a series I have considered continuing.
